Why does PPU have Overstock?

The most common reason is as follows: 

• Each month the makers are asked to provide extra polish(es).  These products are meant to go toward broken polishes and missing packages, while sometimes we still come up short, often we have extra.  
• PPU buys extra inventory 
• Customers change their mind after the sale and request order refunds (but we have already purchased the order from the maker)
• MIA international orders find their way back to us several months later, long after refunds have been issued or orders have been replaced.

Is product on PPU Overstock brand new? 

Yes, we will never sell product that has been used.

Where does the money go when I purchase PPU Overstock? 

50% of total sales go to charity, 50% goes back into the business.  Business funds are used to fund the cost of:  the site, employees to maintain the site, warehouse space to house inventory, shipping supplies and subsidized domestic shipping on the main PPU site.  The only exception to this is extenuating circumstances in which extra polish is listed on behalf of international makers.  In these instances the inventory has been purchased by PPU, or maker will be paid on consignment.

Why were polishes in my order refunded? 

More than likely the polish oversold.  When more than one customer is checking out at the exact same time, oversells occur.  If this happens, we default to the order that came in first.  Unfortunately there is no way to prevent oversells with extremely limited stock and a captive buying customer base.

Do you combine orders? 

PPU Overstock does not combine orders.  Because we are already facilitation the monthly PPU shop, we are trying to keep this additional project as easy as possible without having to resort to mystery packs. We also do not combine with your regular PPU orders.

When will my order ship?

While this isn't a pre-order, please allow up to 1-2 weeks for orders to ship.  

All sales are final.

We do our best to make sure the correct photos are used. 

We suggest that you still search for the product on your own.

We can not guarantee that an effect still works.
